Resul Pookutty (b.1971),
sound designer, editor and
mixer was born in
Vilakkupara, a village in
Kollam district of Kerala. He
won the Oscar Award for Best
Sound Mixing for the film
Slumdog Millionaire. He has
worked in Hindi, Tamil and
Malayalam movies as well as
in Hollywood. He graduated
from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
