poet, literary critic and
philosopher. He and his friend
Wordsworth are regarded as
the founders of the Romantic
Movement in English
Literature. He is best known
for his poems 'The Rime of the
Ancient Mariner' and 'Kubla
Khan'. His major prose work
is 'Biographia Literaria'.
